Back in my favorite spot, in here I find peace, I find myself. This time I just watched the sun go down, I did not worry about the camera settings, I was at ease. I let my mind wander around until I got submerged in this moment's beauty. I enjoyed it and so should you. I just can't get tired of this place. Everytime I visit it's something different. My mind gets at ease contemplating the beauty and feeling all the peace the smooth sea wind brings. That same wind carried the clouds slowly to the west creeating the movement seen in the picture. Enjoy!!! Checking InAs 2017 was coming to an end I grabbed all my gear and headed down this spot located in my hometown. This are the ruins of an old sugar cane pier used a long time ago. This area was hit hard by hurricane María a few months back. I arrived 25 minutes before sunset and decided to wait until the sun cleared the horizon and shoot a long exposure. This shot was 4 minutes long...the sky turned beautifully magenta and subtle tones of oranges, yellows and blues. What a way for the year to end, enjoy!!! Subtle SunsetI wasn't planning on photographing anything that particular day. I went out with the wife to have dinner near the sea at my hometown of Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. As we ordered some drinks and appetizers, the skies started turning interesting so I went to the car and got my equipment. As I was setting up for the shot some of the locals and visitors started taking selfies with this fantastic sunset as the background. Honestly, can you blame them? Enjoy!!! Selfies by the Pier
Life is all about finding balance. That little thing that sometimes evades our lives altogether. Trying to balance family, work, hobbies and life itself is pretty, pretty difficult. For me, all it takes is just getting out there and let nature bring that sense of peacefulness. Enjoy!!!
